4 Steps to Nominate
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
A call for nominations is announced approximately one month before the next event.
SUBMIT NOMINATION FORM
The nomination form below must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the upcoming event.
NOMINATION VETTING
Nominees will be vetted by the Leadership Team to determine eligibility.
PRESENTATION
The nominating Member or the nominated charity’s representative will present at the meeting, the merits of their nominated charity.
Nominator Responsibility
It is important to remember that charities must:
serve Toronto West, the boundaries being Dufferin, and North through Etobicoke into Rexdale
be Canadian,
be a registered charity with the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA), and
be able and willing to issue tax receipts to donating Members.
Please note that in circumstances where a Member heads or is employed by a local charity, another Member must complete the nominating process and present at the meeting, or request that the charity’s representative present on their behalf.
Members or nominated charities must be in the position to commit to presenting at the upcoming meeting to explain how the donation will be used, or request the Leadership Team defer their presentation to a later meeting.

Just make sure you’re aligned with the spirit of the 100 Women Who Care philosophy, have been to at least one meeting, and are up to date with your one-year membership.
The nomination process starts fresh for each meeting
Please feel free to resubmit a charity for consideration if they have not been gifted a major donation from 100 Women Toronto West within the past three years. Charities that have received a major ($10K+) donation are ineligible for nomination three years following receipt of their donation.

Please submit this form at least two weeks prior to the next event. Once our Leadership Team verifies eligibility, the charity will be added to our list of pre-qualified charities for presentation and funding consideration.
Please note that only Members of 100 Women Who Care Toronto West are able to submit nominations. The nominating member or the charity’s representative may present at the meeting.
